Still kind of a mess, so maybe it turns invisible too? But it would be a built-in safety feature to keep your diamonds safe. Stuff despawns after five minutes, I believe, so anything that you "delete" could be thrown on the ground and marked that you can't pick it up for, say, three minutes. So either an additional "safety" feature like Terraria has, that doesn't let you throw certain items out, or else maybe it doesn't really delete the item, but rather, throws it on the ground and doesn't let you pick it up again for a certain amount of time. I do agree that when I'm mining, sometimes I don't want to be picking up every single item on the ground just to toss it down and pick it up again. This doesn't mean that your idea is just total garbage (pun intended), but I think it definitely needs some tweaking. (In creative mode, of course, you could just bring it right back, so it makes more sense to have it there.) And unlike Terraria, we can just throw stuff at a cactus. But it would give the added risk, as MacchuPicchu notes, of accidentally throwing out valuable items. Of course, sometimes you still want to get rid of items. Even rotten flesh can be traded with villagers. Minecraft, for starters, doesn't have the tier system. This looks more like a trash can if you’re going for a specific look. Building a Large Trash Can If a hole in the ground doesn’t strike your fancy, you can also make a cauldron trash can Other than water, a cauldron can also hold lava inside it. Terraria items are also organized into tiers, with the gray tier being objectively worthless. Leave at least a 3 by 3 block square around the lava empty and give it plenty of empty space above. Terraria also has a safety feature where you can favorite items to keep them locked into your inventory. In Terraria, items don't despawn or burn in lava, so the trash can is really the only way to dispose of stuff. A redstone comparator is removed and dropped as an item if: its. A redstone comparator can be broken instantly with any tool, or by hand, and drops itself as an item. Redstone comparators generate in ancient cities. Thanks for reading and I hope you got some inspiration. While the feature works nicely in Terraria, I'm not sure it would transfer well in survival Minecraft. A redstone comparator is a redstone component used to maintain, compare, or subtract signal strength, or to measure certain block states (primarily the fullness of containers). The cool thing about this addition is not only does it add an entirely new layer to redstone it also theoretically wont break any previous redstone contraptions. You could even add a gate which extracts either the signal power or the difference between signal power and signal strength or even just swaps the two and outputs the swapped signal for extra depth. Redstone and breadstone can also be combined and connected like normal redstone allowing you to lower signal strength in one place and keep it in another. Skip the single-use plastic diaper pail liner and use these washable, waterproof, and reusable bags instead. These 5-gallon bags work best for a 20-quart pail and are available in various colors and prints to coordinate with your nursery décor. Signal strength works almost the same way however a comparator keeps this signal instead of resetting it to 15 and in breadstone it keeps the same signal strength over its entire length. If you’re looking for a reusable trash bag, Planet Wise is a great option. Once it hits zero the signal strength is also set to zero. And in both redstone and breadstone the power lowers by one per step. Signal power always starts at 15 whether it comes from a comparator or a repeater. My suggestion is to split the redstone signal into two variables: signal strength and signal power. Now hear me out I know this would result in instant redstone but I have a solution which would add an entirely new layer to redstone.
